Rosalind D. Olson
Ms. Olson is an attorney in the Roseville office of Angius & Terry LLP. Ms. Olson advises community associations in the day-to-day operations of common interest developments, including interpretation of and statutory compliance with the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act, interpretation and enforcement of governing documents, contract negotiation, oversight and administration, voting and election procedures, disclosure requirements, amending and restating governing documents, as well as other common interest, business and real estate legal issues. Ms. Olson also represents community associations in the various litigation matters that impact common interest developments.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Olson operated a successful real estate brokerage that centered on representing real estate investors in the acquisition and management of rental property. Ms. Olson’s background gives her a unique perspective in advising community associations in the foreclosure, ownership and rental of separate interests of common interest developments.
Ms. Olson graduated with Distinction from McGeorge School of Law in 2011, where she earned Witkin awards for the highest grade in Constitutional Law and Taxation of Real Estate Transactions and became a member of the Trainor Honor Society. During law school Ms. Olson served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ronald H. Sargis in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California. Prior to law school, Ms. Olson attended the University of California, Davis, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Ms. Olson is an active member of the California North Chapter of Community Associations Institute and the California Legislative Action Committee. Ms. Olson is also an active member of the Sacramento County Bar Association Real Property and Business Sections.
