Jasmine Fisher Hale is a veteran community association attorney with over a 12-years of experience.
Corporate Counsel & Employment Law. Jasmine serves as general counsel for the Firm’s clients throughout Northern and Southern California. She provides wide ranging services including governing document analysis, legal opinions, contract negotiations, Board governance, governing document restatements, and pre-litigation counsel, including attending mediations. Jasmine also specializes in employment law for the Firm’s clients and prepares employee handbooks, conducts employment investigations, and drafts employment and severance agreements. In addition, Jasmine is a Fellow of the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), an instructor for CACM and CAI, and served as a Chapter Liaison for the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) for 5 years.
Real Estate Law. Prior to starting her practice representing common interest developments, Jasmine served as corporate counsel to Phillips Group USA, a California-based real estate developer with residential and hotel projects throughout the West Coast and Latin America. Jasmine gained extensive experience creating associations; drafting project operating agreements; managing and coordinating the company’s legal interests in its development projects; facilitating and overseeing entitlements, land use and zoning approvals with local governments; and assisting in project financing and acquisitions.
Construction Law. Previously, Jasmine served as corporate counsel to BNF Construction, a construction management firm that has participated in projects globally with the Ritz Carlton, Marriott Corporation and other well-recognized companies. Jasmine negotiated engagement agreements, reviewed monthly draws and handled other related matters.
In-House Counsel. Jasmine’s career has also included a position in the Private Wealth Management division of UBS Financial Services. She was in-house counsel to an Internet publishing company located in Camarillo, California, and she has worked abroad at the London office of McDermott, Will & Emery in the company’s e-commerce division.
Education. Jasmine has a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, with a double major in political science and communications (rhetoric) and a minor in history. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California, and also received a certificate in entrepreneurship and the law from the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law.
