Video FAQ:
How often does the incoming board meet?
There’s no specific rule on how often the incoming board has to meet. Generally, the board wants to have an organizational meeting right after the election so that they know who the president and vice president are going to be. Often times there’s a meeting two weeks later where you can actually discuss some of the substantive issues. After that, typically, boards only meet once a month, occasionally depending upon how much common area there is, they may all even meet once a quarter, but usually once a month.
