Video FAQ:

What is a latent construction defect?

A latent construction defect is a hidden construction defect, it’s a defect that is not apparent upon visual observation by a regular homeowner. That doesn’t mean that if an engineer can tell that something’s wrong, that makes it not latent. It has to be from the point of view of a person who is a non construction professional and whether or not without doing more, they can just see that there’s a problem.
