What rights does an association have if a developer is bankrupt?

If a developer is bankrupt and the association suffers from construction defects, it’s primary resort is to discover who the insurance company for the builder was, and then go into bankruptcy court and obtain permission to bring a claim against that insurance company, which is allowed under Florida and Federal law.
