Video FAQ:

When do the homeowners or condominium owners select the incoming board?

The condominium owners or homeowners select the incoming board during the developer transition process. First, there’s a ninety day waiting period, where really nothing happens. Then, at the end of that ninety days, the homeowners or condominium owners are entitled to elect the board. However, before they can elect the board, there has to be an election process. In a condominium association, that process takes at least sixty days, the developer must complete it within seventy-five. In a homeowners association, the process is determined by the bylaws of the association, but the developer must complete it within ninety days.
