Amy Laguna is a Senior Paralegal at Angius & Terry LLP with over 25 years of legal experience.
She has a BS in Political Science and Latin American Studies. She interned in the legal research department of the Sonoma County Superior Court and spent two years working as a legal assistant at a prominent insurance defense firm before joining Angius & Terry in 2000.
Amy has extensive experience in all aspects of construction defect claims. She is very knowledgeable about the pre-litigation claims process and she has seen hundreds of cases through settlement, as well as through deposition and trial. During the construction defect claims process, Amy is responsible for coordinating inspections and testing with homeowners, experts and counsel for the developer or builder. She prides herself on maintaining good relationships and communication with managers, board members, and homeowners throughout this process.
In addition, Amy also assists the General Counsel practice group in all aspects. She specializes in litigation, bankruptcy, and judicial foreclosure.
Amy is a past member of the Mt. Diablo Legal Professionals Association. She has also sat on several Boards of Directors and also served as the President of the Athletic Boosters for her daughters’ high school.
