Christy Dyrr, Senior Paralegal

Christy earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Shortly after graduation, she relocated to Walnut Creek and began her legal career in 1992 with Angius & Terry.

Christy has served in her capacity as a Paralegal, collectively, for almost two decades. Early in her career she worked extensively to assist the firm’s Attorneys on complex construction defect cases. She coordinated and oversaw on-site investigations, efficiently managed voluminous amounts of documents, tracked litigation costs, facilitated legal filings, and acted as a liaison between the client, legal counsel, retained experts, and professional managers. Her attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work remained steadfast, even as the firm expanded beyond the Bay Area.

An opportunity to relocate north to Chico gave her the chance to savor her role raising two boys into adulthood and garnered her a multitude of opportunities to serve as an active community volunteer and leader in the area’s local non-profit scene. For a decade, she served in her capacity as a board member to accomplish the goals of the respective organizations to which she served. These experiences have enriched her perspective and strengthened her ability to support clients’ general counsel needs. Today, Christy is part of a seasoned team of Paralegals who collectively bring over a century of legal expertise to address the immediate needs of the firm’s clients.

When not at work, Christy enjoys exploring the outdoors, going for long walks with their Labrador “Reggie”, nurturing her garden, reading and spending time with family and friends near and far.
