Michael McKelleb practices exclusively in community association law, primarily serving as general corporate counsel for common-interest community associations. As general corporate counsel, Mr. McKelleb assists associations in all aspects of their operations, including vendor contracts (e.g. negotiation, interpretation, and disputes), compliance with state and federal law, and governing documents, alternative dispute resolution, including representation in NRS 38.310 mediations, Office of the Ombudsman Intervention Affidavits, and prosecutes and defends his clients in litigation in all state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court.
Mr. McKelleb received his B.A. in Communications from Southern Utah University and received his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted as a member of the Society of Advocates.
Mr. McKelleb frequently lectures on timely topics of interest to common-interest community boards and provides continuing education courses to community association managers to help them meet their educational requirements. Further, Mr. McKelleb often publishes articles regarding community association law in trade journals. Mr. McKelleb is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Nevada, including the Federal Bankruptcy Court. Mr. McKelleb is also a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), serving as a member of the Legislative Action Committee and the Political Action Committee.
